Responsible for the sale of advertising in our Annual Vacation Planner, Seasonal Marketing Campaigns and Online Travel Trade Guide as well as Event sales for attendance at TOTA Golf Tournament and Annual Summit as well as other sale initiatives that are initiated directly from TOTA.
Develops and implements an Industry Development and Research Strategy to increase tourism capacity, innovation, integration and economic activity in the Thompson Okanagan region.
Develops and implements a Community Development Strategy to enhance community tourism partnerships, capacity and competitiveness in the Thompson Okanagan region.
Responsible for the integrity of the Association’s financials, producing timely and accurate financial statements, forecasts, analysis and corporate reporting; also the liaison with the Board of Directors and manages the Corporate Services functions including IT, Performance Measurement, HR and Purchasing.
Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and payable functions, as well as assisting the Corporate Officer. Develops and implements a plan to measure TOTA’s performance, prepares information to meet TOTA’s and Tourism BC’s reporting requirements, increases the efficiency of TOTA’s administrative processes and maximizes the effectiveness of TOTA’s technology systems.
Responsible to the Corporate Officer by maintaining lead reception functions and increasing the efficiency of TOTA's administrative processes for corporate communications through standardization of TOTA's tools and templates, and SharePoint implementation and administration and assisting in preparing information to meet TOTA's and Tourism BC's reporting requirements, maintaining TOTA's database systems
Also responsible to the CEO by providing confidential administrative and project support to the CEO.
