February 05, 2012 at 1:46 AM

MEDIA-uniglobe_on_the_okanagan.jpgThe Okanagan recently received a major publicity boost with a glowing online article in a high-profile online publication.

The Travel Times – the online publication of Uniglobe Travel, the world's largest single-brand retail travel franchise company with 700 locations in more than 50 countries – published an article with the light-hearted headline: "What's an Okanagan? Can't be Canada, but it is!"

The Travel Times provides extensive travel news, destination information, travel tips, and links to Uniglobe Travel agents.

The article starts off: "If you are contemplating visiting Canada's beautiful British Columbia, then you must plan to visit the Okanagan Valley. Quite simply, the area is a must see ..."
