Dramatic Results Achieved With European Designed Cleanse and Detox Program
Sparkling Hill Resort introduces the next step in good health and wellness
January 28, 2011 – Vernon, B.C. – At Sparkling Hill Resort situated high on a cliff above Lake Okanagan good health and wellness is celebrated all year long. But starting January 2011 the resort is introducing a new program called Cleanse, designed for resort guests who are looking to take the next step in good health and wellness.
The package is priced for $2,500 double occupancy or $2,900 single occupancy and includes six nights’ accommodation and seven days of treatments and nutrition. Guests are greeted by a doctor upon arrival and after consultation an individual program is prescribed.
Individual programs include two treatments and movement class daily along with the Cleanse Detox plan which includes dry bread and milk, unlimited variety of tea and vegetable broth. Dr. Ray Lendvai, offers a modified program for guests who require additional nutrients during the week, which can include brown rice, select fruits, vegetables and protein foods such as legumes, fish and chicken. Guests consult with the doctor during their stay and a take-home follow up program is prescribed. Hotel guests on the cleanse program have the privacy of a private dining room and kitchen during their stay.
Included in the seven day package is complete access to all KurSpa amenities, which include seven uniquely themed steam and sauna rooms, Aqua Mediation, an indoor pool complete with underwater music and starry Swarovski Crystal sky, hot pool, outdoor infinity pool, Kneipp water therapy and Serenity relaxation room. The Sparkling Hill Cleanse Program is offered for one, two or three weeks; optimum results are achieved by two and three week programs.
Hans-Peter Mayr, general manager of Sparkling Hill has worked with the Cleanse Detox program for many years and is confident guests will achieve the results that they are looking for. He says, “After a week you will notice your eyes are brighter and your skin glows, your energy level is higher and your spirit is greatly renewed. Guests who stay for two or three weeks notice dramatic results to their overall health.”
It’s important to note that a cleansing program is not about starving yourself but about depriving your body of certain foods to encourage it to seek its energy elsewhere. More specifically, seek energy in the fat a person has stored throughout the years in their body along with many harmful toxins.
During a cleanse the body slowly begins breaking down fat stores to be used as energy. This process is called lipolysis. It releases the toxins to be flushed out in the bloodstream and also encourages the liver to work to break and filter the fat stores.
Cleansing is thought to generate a healing process within the body as its energy is diverted from its normal activity of food digestion and focused towards the person’s metabolism and immune system, including cell repair.
This diverted energy also encourages the body to produce more hormones. Hormones such as the Human Growth Hormone, among others, are what are responsible for the anti-ageing benefits of cleansing as these hormones encourage cell rejuvenation and help produce healthier tissue.
All these benefits leave the person feeling rejuvenated, full of energy and their life expectancy is scientifically proven to be extended.
Guests will stay in luxury room accommodations with stunning views of Lake Okanagan. By incorporating the stunning elements from Swarovski Crystal with the beauty of Lake Okanagan and the winter wonderland of the valley, the resort is inspirational and peaceful, a perfect place to reflect and renew.
Additional activities include winter hiking with one of the Sparkling Hill’s experienced guides, or skiing at Silver Star Mountain Resort, a snowy winter wonderland located in B.C.'s sunny Okanagan.
Sparkling Hill Resort is a luxurious 152 room European-inspired hotel specializing in whole body wellness. The resort opened in May of 2010 and is located just outside of Vernon, a city of approximately 35,000 residents in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, a scenic 25 minute drive north of the Kelowna International Airport. The valley is recognized for its majestic mountains, refreshing waters, lush vineyards, world-class golf and skiing and one of the warmest climates in Canada.
