Job Opportunity: Wine Ambassadors/ Cultural Land Stewards

 

Wicked Wine Tours (Indigenous-owned) is seeking Okanagan Wine Ambassadors/Cultural Land Stewards to lead their small-group wine tours.


You will weave together traditional storytelling, land stewardship practices, and contemporary sustainable vineyard practices into an educational and unforgettable guided experience. Through storytelling, guests will discover how traditional ecological knowledge informs contemporary viticulture, creating a deeper appreciation for both Indigenous heritage and sustainable agriculture practices.


What You’ll Bring (Essential Qualifications & Attributes)

  • Proven customer service excellence (hospitality, tourism, events, or luxury service preferred)

  • Confident communicator and natural host who is warm, engaging, and professional with diverse groups

  • Strong interest in wine and local culture (wine education/WSET an asset; curiosity required)

  • Reliability and punctuality with a calm, responsible approach in a guest-facing role

  • Valid Class 4 Unrestricted driver’s license (or willingness to get) with a clean driving record; comfortable driving guests safely

  • Local knowledge of wineries, restaurants, and regional highlights (or eagerness to learn quickly)

Seasonality & Compensation
This is a seasonal role (approximately March through October). Remuneration is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and industry standards.
