The TOTA Training Centre is a resource hub designed to support tourism professionals and businesses in the Thompson Okanagan region by providing education, skills development, and training opportunities. It offers free and fully funded programs in areas such as hospitality, beverage industry training, agri-tourism entrepreneurship, and crisis readiness. The Training Centre collaborates with industry partners, educational institutions, and government initiatives to equip tourism professionals with practical skills, business knowledge, and industry connections.

Online Resources

Additionally, it provides access to online learning tools, workshops, and best practices through partnerships like Destination BC’s Learning Centre to help businesses stay competitive in an evolving tourism landscape.

In Person Courses

Programs are delivered by the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) in cooperation with the Okanagan College. In the past, programs have also been delivered in partnership with University of Victoria-Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.

Training programs are offered online or at the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Inspiration & Training Centre on Highway 97C (Okanagan Connector) near Peachland.
