Internet Connectivity Funding Available

The Connecting British Columbia program is currently accepting applications for Phase Three of the program. Funding is available to cover infrastructural costs to set up high speed internet connections in rural and remote communities. The $50 million allocation to Phase Three is the largest single investment since the program’s creation in 2015. Phases One and Two saw allocations of $10 million and $40 million, respectively. The funds can be utilized by companies planning or implementing an ongoing project to set up high speed internet connections in rural, remote or Indigenous communities.
