The Rogerie

TOTA's commitment to sustainability includes highlighting organisations that are doing more to contribute to the region's sustainability.  Beyond providing the framework and tools needed for tourism stakeholders to move forward on their sustainability journey through the Biosphere Commitment Program, we work to support and promote those that are pushing the boundaries on sustainability in our communities.

The Rogerie started in 2019 as a farmers market booth in Kelowna, BC trying to find a way to reuse old plastic.

All products are made by the Rogerie using plastic recovered from local landfills, meaning no long-distance shipping, no fossil fuels, and no waste by-products.

Located in Kelowna, BC, the facility is powered by 100% renewable energy, making them a net-zero carbon producer. In addition, the operation is streamlined to use minimal ground shipping and no overseas shipping to reduce carbon emissions.
